Overview
The Executive IT Governance Board values and incorporates the insights of domain-specific committees, strategic partners, and ad hoc working groups when making technology decisions that support the campus mission, provide for academic and research needs, and promote innovation and creativity. Executive Board membership consists of the positions listed below. All members are designated ex-officio, i.e., serving on the board based on their unique university title.

Purpose
The Executive IT Governance Board:
- Develops IT strategy that aligns with university mission and priorities
- Reviews, approves, and oversees campus-wide technology projects and technology enabled initiatives
- Provides oversight of IT investments and their impact
- Enables executive-level sponsorship of IT initiatives
- Determines exceptions from approved standards
